      3. Sit tight. A team member will contact you as soon as a tutor match is found. An invoice will be sent and once payment is confirmed, sessions can commence.

    You will have direct contact with the tutor and periodic check ins with Spectrum staff to monitor progress and determine if more sessions are desired,

    How Much Will It Cost Me?

    So that we can offer you the best possible tutoring experience we currently have two different pricing packages. The pricing of each package is based on the number of hours you wish to prepay for. The hours can be broken into various session lengths with the minimum session being 1 hour long.

    What Do You Cover In Private Tutoring?

    As it is 1-1 tutoring, we can be flexible on what is covered in the private tutoring sessions.

    One of the options is to cover the work that your child is currently doing at school as homework help, where they will need to bring in their assignments and/or textbook(s). In these cases, we will ask for a course outline from school if possible to help our tutors plan and prepare for the sessions.

    We offer English and Mathematics from Grade Prep to Year 12 as well as scholarship and selective schools preparation

    Who Are Your Tutors?

    Our private tutors are the best of the best. They include past high performing VCE students who are experts in their chosen fields. All of our tutors are personally interviewed and hand-picked based on their academic record, communication skills and ability to break down difficult concepts into an easily digestible format.

    Each and every tutor we hire has a current Working With Children check.

    What If I Need To Cancel/Reschedule A Session? 

    Any changes in the scheduling of sessions made by the student, parent or guardian need to be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. If 24 hours notice is not given by you to Spectrum Tuition or the tutor that has been allocated to take the session, the session will be debited from the sessions purchased.

    What If I’m Late?

    Students who are not present at the pre-determined location and time when the tutor arrives or who are more than 15 minutes late are considered absent for that session. If a student is absent he or she will still be responsible for payment for the tutoring session. Accordingly, the sessions will be debited from the sessions purchased.

    Where Will The Sessions Take Place?
